The editorial team of The Spice Route India Movement takes the pleasure in presenting the third issue of the newsletter to you!.

Although we regret the delay in bringing out this issue of newsletter due to the jarring second wave of the pandemic, it has allowed enough time for having stories from young physicians that are beyond COVID-19. We hope that this would be a change for all our readers and relatable as our practices have been getting back to normal.

While we celebrate Transgender Awareness Week this November between 13th - 19th, we are reminded of the values of autonomy, inclusivity, acceptance, empathy, and equality. As family physicians these are some of the values we are expected to deeply embrace in our practice. In this issue, there are many articles that make us think of this humane aspect of caring for our patients. Articles that talk about experiences dealing with palliative care, death of patients, beauty of relationship building with patients and fellow community health workers.

The current issue also has rich review articles and a case report and don’t forget to lighten your mood with the warm story from the jungle of Sundarbans. We thank all the authors for their lovely articles.
